Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in required DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings
- Train new employees.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Operate equipment safely.
- Understand and follow CILT (Clean, Inspect, Lube, and Tighten)
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Communicate any issues and solutions to next shift.
- Read and follow production schedule.
- Cleaning of all equipment using CIP systems, COP tanks and manual cleaning.
- Communication of issues with co-workers, maintenance technicians and lead.
- Operate computer systems needed to run production.
- Uses two-way radio to communicate remotely with other team members.
- Comply with all quality policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices
- Demonstrates how to centerline machines.
- Pass and maintain forklift certification.
- Demonstrate safe operation and sterilization of all Fillers (start-up, teardown, reassembly, product and tank change)
- Demonstrate safe operation and troubleshooting of the Uniloy Blow Mold machine with associated regrind, trimming, and auxiliary equipment.
- Demonstrates how to operate Bagger/Debagger and Pallet Strapper
- Operate Robotic Palletizing/Depalletizing
- Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.
- Escalates issues in a timely manner to team members, support personnel and plant leadership.
- Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures
- All other duties as assigned or become evident
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 year experiencing in manufacturing
- Minimum 1 year experience in operating fluid dairy fillers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fundamental skills in influencing and persuasion
- Strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Good negotiations skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Ability to work in a fluid environment
- Ability to identify problems, draw conclusions, and make recommended solutions
- Ability to be self-directed with little supervision
- Ability to adjust schedule to support 24/7 Manufacturing Operation, may include working overtime, graveyard shift and/or weekends as needed.
