About the Job:
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Supply Planning!
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Broomfield, CO.
Mission and Main Responsibilities:
- Foster a high-performing team of Planners, developing their skills and expertise to continuously cover all Supply Planning needs, targeting the creation of future operational leaders at the Company.
- Lead the supply planning strategy and analysis of multi-site manufacturing for the short-term horizon (0-3 months)
- Continuously align supply plans with demand forecasts, adjusting production schedules based on sales trends, seasonal fluctuations, and unexpected changes in demand.
- Works closely with milk procurement & hauling teams to ensure milk intake aligns with production and inventory strategies.
- Cross collaborate with the planning organization to build a feasible and reliable production strategy for the mid-long term.
- Achieve performance metrics, prioritize and escalate planning challenges, creating counter measures to achieve KPI targets, conducting root cause analysis as needed to identify systemic issues
- Track and report key KPIs – case fill rate, finished goods waste, inventory levels, production attainment, inter plant transfers.
- Identify and implement best practices in inventory management, demand-supply alignment, and cost optimization.
- Escalate information about shortages or excesses of inventory levels to the organization.
- Lead development of Supply Planning standard operating procedures. Ensure the supply team understands and follows all SOPs.
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or a related field required
- Strong understanding of supply planning tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of dairy industry or similar industry with perishability challenges is a preferred
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel-based reporting and/or Power BI
- Knowledge and experience with SAP/APO planning tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., using formulas)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly across departments
- Ability to continue moving forward and adapt quickly to changing conditions
- Ability to imagine future scenarios, innovate and try varied approaches to solve problems
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong understanding of dairy industry or similar industry with perishability challenges is a plus
